The dining room was not crowded and tasteful decorated with ships, pictures of fish, and lighthouses. An excellent choice for our last dinner in Williamsburg. ”

“ Just had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Fat Tuna. Ahi tuna was probably the best I have ever had. Wedge salad was cold and crispy, served wih raisins,honeyed pecans, and red onions. Service was very good. Had a mojito - lovely presentation in a tall glass rimmed in blue. Great dinner- highly recommend. ”

Had a great server who was attentive and kind! Since it was restaurant week, had a salad with good ranch, their tempura fried fish and key lime pie and each disc was good! My friend enjoyed her shrimp and grits! Great place for a good meal! ”

“ Lots of beautifully selected artwork greet you as you enter this restaurant. Food is excellent - I recommend the sesame tuna and the fried green tomatoes. Nicole, our server, was great and kept our drinks full and was very attentive to our needs. She gave some very great recommendations which we were really pleased with. The crab legs and calamari were cooked to perfection. Highly recommended and a MUST TRY for your Williamsburg visit. Conveniently located near many of the hotels and other local attractions. ”

“ Virginia Beach is my hometown so I come to Hampton Roads quite a bit. I always stop at any seafood place to show my partner no matter where you stop in Hampton Roads is fresh and delicious every time! Fat Tuna did not disappoint. We had the pleasure of being served by Taha. Not only was Taha very present and tentative, I shared with him the untimely passing of my cousin, whom funeral we just left. He shared the most heartfelt words and I couldn't be more grateful for that. Food: Crab cakes, no filler! All crab lightly battered for crunch and not deep fried. Yummy and I didn't need sauce. Seared ahi tuna some of the freshest tuna I have ever tasted. A slight overcooked for me personally (I like it rare) but delicious nonetheless. Taha made us some wonderful delicious cucumber martinis. No exaggeration a must try! Dozen clams, super fresh and they have Texas Pete! This is so hard to find at restaurants in NYC Overall great experience feel like your under the sea at Ariel's art museum. The art is absolutely outstanding and whoever is responsible is a very talented human being. I really want the Octopus please! lol THANKS TAHA AND FAT TUNA ”

“ Food was pretty good! The seafood in the seafood bruschetta was okay the mussels were tiny and half closed so was afraid to eat them, but the clams and shrimp were good. Sauce had good flavor. Noodles cooked great. Whole red snapper was cooked great. Crest crispy skin, lots of meat on fish. Choose your sides. Meal comes with hush puppies and corn bread good touch. Good Bloody Mary too. Would return to try other options. Good service. Nice people. ”

“ Food was great and service was quick. On a hot day, I was never low on water refills. There is a lot of fish artwork hanging which was cute. The hushpuppy and corn bread starter was a great way to start the meal. The broiled seafood platter has nice variety without all the additional calories of the fried platter. Scallops and shrimp were big and juicy while the fish and crab cake were also satisfying. Likewise, the shrimp and scallop pasta was plentiful with seafood, tomatoey sauce, and garlic bread. The prices are reasonable for seafood, and the food came quickly and tasted great. There is plenty of parking and can make reservations in advance. ”
